I got a recipe for mussels in a white wine leek sauce from a NZ website for healthy food. I have never cooked mussels before in my life, and found myself googling various steps like cooking, de-bearding, de-barnacling, and making sure the mussels aren't spoiled. We also had our German friend, Christian over for dinner so I tried to impress him with a rice ball like my mom used to make. Overall dinner was a hit, the fresh mussels were amazing.
