Harbour view

With fall rapidly approaching as signaled by the turning back of clocks and chilly nights I found myself reveling in the glorious sunny day today. It was perfect. However, I am all too aware that these days are to be few and far between in the coming rainy months.

Mike spent the weekend at Bay of Islands planting trees, snorkeling and harvesting mussels (will post pictures later) which left me home pondering life, love, and the over abundance of savoury meat pies in this country.

Since I have discovered mobile blogging my die-hard handful of followers can look forward to many exciting and jam packed posts in the future! For now, enjoy the following videos the first a tug boat full of tourists and the harbour walk full of tourists. Second a fancy boat full of tourists leaving the harbour that is our backyard and finally the shark van. Not as cool as the yellow duck but still pretty amusing.
